Yes, as you mentioned, this is all Napa Valley fruit, but I thought I should tell you more. Pazzo is a proprietary blend created by Claus Janzen. The wine is predominated by Sangiovese and although the blend is not a set formula you will always find the Sangiovese to be partnered with Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Sirah, occasionally a bit of Merlot, and a touch of Viognier. We do believe it is a fantastic wine for the price and are happy to know that you found it on your birthday, the production is not huge at 4000 cases a year, but large enough that we have a strong domestic and international following.
